Brian Thomas, MD
Dr. Thomas is a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. He provides clinical evaluations and management for patients struggling with many different mental health disorders, including those with symptoms of anxiety, depression and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Dr. Thomas joined Peachtree Psychiatric Professionals in 2003 and became a partner of the practice in 2011.
Dr. Thomas is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has additional board certification Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. When asked about his approach to psychiatric treatment, Dr. Thomas stated he takes “a biopsychosocial approach that addresses the medical, psychological, and external factors that can impact mental health.”
In his spare time, Dr. Thomas likes exercising and listening to music. He enjoys watching sports, including the University of Virginia teams and the Atlanta sports teams.
